We worked on a local project in conjunction with White & Sons, which yielded waste materials we were able sell. We decided we wanted to donate the money to a local charity and we voted unanimously to help Horley Community Pre-School with their fundraising following the fire that destroyed Strawson Hall, all their furniture, equipment, toys etc. They are going to put our £300 donation towards new furniture which will be desperately needed once they are able to re-locate to a permanent home. Steve from Johnson & Sons and Debbie from White & Sons presented the cheque to the nursery.
We pride ourselves in being involved in the local community and regularly do charity donations. This image shows one of our operatives giving food hampers at Crawley Town Hall to support people in need over Christmas.
A local Crawley resident called the show Cowboy Builders to ask for help sorting out her unfinished extension. We're very proud to have been able to help rectify the issues and assist with project completion.
Johnson & Sons regularly support and make donations to this incredible charity who work with people in need. In the past we have donated raffle prizes, assisted with promotion and attended fundraising events. Kirsten Johnson also frequently volunteers when FreeShop collect food donations. Our office is also a collection point for donations. Please email kirsten@johnsonandsons.co.uk if you'd like more information.
We’re very happy to share our news that we’ve bought a defibrillator for the office and it’s been registered on The Circuit, so the ambulance service know we have one on site that’s available to use during office hours. We’ve also notified the local shops and doctors surgery. Hopefully it’ll never need to be used, but we’re ready to help if needed. Unbelievably, ours is only 1 of 10 registered in the whole of Crawley.
